I’m using Quicken Classic for Windows, Version R69.53, Build 27.1.69.53, on Windows 11 Home.
When I open One Step Update, all financial institution checkboxes are unchecked. Initially, “Sync to Quicken Cloud” and “Download quotes and investment information” were both checked.
If I select the financial institutions, click Apply, then click Update Now, the downloads work correctly. However, the next time I open One Step Update, the financial institutions are unchecked again.
I tested the following without running an update:
- Opened One Step Update Settings.
- Selected the financial institution checkboxes.
- Clicked Apply, then Close.
- Immediately reopened the dialog.
All financial institutions were unchecked again.
I also tried selecting just one financial institution and unchecking the Online Services options. After clicking Apply, closing, and reopening the dialog, nothing was checked. The Online Services options remained unchecked, but the financial institution selection was lost.
This affects all financial institutions and happens even when selecting an institution individually instead of using Select All.
Has anyone encountered this behavior or found a fix? Is this a known issue with R69.53, or is there another setting that controls whether financial institution selections are retained?
