Certificates missing on 1 step update for Golden 1 FCU. Showing in balances. Online balances incorrect. Ending balance correct on some accounts. Interest / Dividends goes into wrong accounts. Too many fixes, can't do manual, too many errors with quicken. After 30 years, going to quit using it. Too much hassle and too much time spent and still not able to make corrections. Also, online support cannot help.

@ronaldet given that you're seeing multiple symptoms across the Golden 1 accounts, including missing certificates during One Step Update, incorrect online balances, and downloaded interest/dividend transactions appearing in the wrong accounts, I suspect the issue may be with the connection and account linking rather than the individual registers themselves.

Before making any changes, create a backup of your data file. Then:

1. Deactivate online services for all Golden 1 accounts.
2. On the Online Services tab in Account Details, blank out Financial Institution and Account Number.
3. Use Add Account (rather than Set Up Now) to reconnect to Golden 1.
4. Allow Quicken to discover all available accounts at the financial institution.
5. Carefully link each discovered account to the existing Quicken account and make sure none are added as new accounts.
6. Complete the download and review the results.

If the account mappings became mismatched during a previous connection or reauthorization, re-establishing all of the links at the same time can sometimes resolve issues with online balances, downloaded transactions, and income postings being associated with the wrong account.

If the problem persists after reconnecting all accounts, then it may be worth exploring data-file troubleshooting steps such as Validate & Repair or a Quicken Copy, but I would start with reconnecting the accounts first since the symptoms seem more consistent with a connection/linking issue than register corruption.
