Where is my investment data stored, on my local system or online someplace ?

    Quicken stores your data locally. But it is all online, as you know if you have ever used your financial institutions' web sites.

    Quicken user since version 2 for DOS, as of 2025 using QWin Premier (US) on Win10 Pro & Win11 Pro on 2 PCs.

    It would also depend on if the online portfolio and mobile app are used.
    With those services some of the investment data would be stored on the servers.
