Does "show cash in checking account" work in Quicken for Mac

Can not find "show cash in checking account" in quicken for Mac. trying to create checking account from brokerage (UBS)

People who use their investment accounts as their primary checking accounts have been known to make it work. You can choose to display the check # column, and other columns as needed to make the register feel more like a checking account. Use a transaction type of Payment/Deposit for these cash transactions.
It certainly is workable, but you will see your investment transactions in the same register.6
