How do I change the value if no symbol associated with security?

I am using Quicken 2017 for Mac. I group some securities together for reference. How can I change the value manually, since no Symbol is associated with that security group?

You don't need a symbol. You can enter the name in the Security list, and when you go to save, you will get a warning that Quicken can't find the Security:

Click on the "Use as Symbol" button, and then you can go to update the Price History:
