Downloading Quicken to my new laptop

I downloaded Quicken to my new Surface Laptop 2 and loaded my file from a USB. I can open Quicken but the screen goes blank after about 2 seconds?

  That's the problem, you loaded the file from a USB, instead of Restoring from the USB Drive.
