Can I add a transaction type to the list?

  If You are referring to the customizable NUM list, clicking an empty NUM field brings up the edit dialog. You can create any description you want, but Quicken will not act on it as it does for internal NUM values.

  Also please confirm that your question is about the Quicken on the Web application, as categorized, and not Quicken for Windows, Quicken for Mac or the Quicken Mobile app.
