how do I protect Reconciled Transaction from being changed? (Q Mac)

Sometimes transactions that have been reconciled get change. That messes everything up. How can I lock reconciled transactions to prevent this?

    You can password protect your transactions before performing a reconcile.
    Click "File" then "Set Password to modify transactions".
     That will then give you a warning that you are altering a previously reconciled transaction.
