How to edit home mortgage payments history

I have a history of payments for my home mortgage but made extra principle payments for about 1 year and did not change my monthly payment schedule. I would like to go back in history to correct these older payments. Is there a way to do this?

Go into your Checking account and pull up the payment transactions.

Edit each of them to add an extra line for the extra principal payments, like this example, as line #3:

Change one transaction. Verify results in the loan register's Payment Details and the Loan Details views. If it looks OK change the rest.
