Can I install an updated file from 2007 on Quicken deluxe?

Quicken Mac Subscription Member ✭✭
I just subscribed to deluxe. I transferred my file from 2007 and the transfer went well. Problem is that I’ve now made some corrections and adjustments to the original file using 2007. Can I somehow start over in deluxe using that updated file? I don’t want to risk losing my file...
