How do I update cash portion in stock account

In 2007 program I could open 'Adjust Balance' in the accounts drop down item in toolbar. At that time a box would drop down allowing me to correct the new balance. In 2019 program I am unable to have the 'Accounts Balance' item highlighted so cannot update.

Make sure the actual account is selected in the sibebar, and then (from menubar) Accounts: Adjust Account Balance
