Fidelity Investments & Symantec VIP Two Factor Authentication

Has anyone turned on two factor authentication (Symantec VIP) at Fidelity Investments and hasn't caused any issues downloading info in Quicken Windows 2020? And I know Fidelity states that it will prevent Quicken to work just wondering if anyone has verified this statement.

Given the following two statements, I'm not gonna try it.

To complete your login, you‘ll then be prompted to enter the code from your VIP app, which is valid for 30 seconds.

I'm lucky if I can find my phone in 30 seconds.

If you use a financial aggregator such as Quicken® to view your accounts, enabling VIP Access may prevent the aggregator from updating your account information.

This doesn't make total sense. Fidelity uses Direct Connect to talk to Quicken, which is not an aggregator. Mint & Yodlee are aggregators. Quicken's Express Web Connect uses an aggregator, but Fidelity doesn't use that.

Bottom line: you try it. If it causes Quicken to fail, you will need to call Fidelity and have them deactivate it.
