Upgrading from Q 2017. Will I lose my data from this and other versions. Been with Q 10yrs

Upgrading from Q2017. Will this and older versions be upgraded to use or will I lose my data.
The old systems automatically updated the older version. I am holding off installing to make sure I don't lose Q2018 and earlier data

All the data in the Quicken QDF file remains intact as you migrate from version to version... as in the past upgrades -
