How do I open a new register window?

I accidentally closed the window view of my main checking account, and now I cannot seem to find out how to reopen it. What am I missing?

command+1 or Window:(Name of Data File)

If you wish to open a secondary window of an individual account, double click on the account name in the sidebar.

Thanks, but your answer assumes that the desired account window already exists; it does not because I closed it. And I don't see a sidebar. I have one account register window open, but not the one I want. Where is the sidebar? I'm on a Mac with subscription.

Again, hit command+1

This will open the main Window. (That is what you have closed.)

Ok, thanks! I got it now. Main window had a report in it so I thought it was just a report window.
