How to add a linked house account in order to link to existing mortgage in Q Premier 202 Mac?

My existing house account is only listed as an "asset" not a "house." I do not see option of converting or choosing when I try to create a new account. I want to link it to my existing mortgage account and home equity loan. Thanks

It is setup correctly, although you are free to rename the asset account to something more suitable. (Right (or control) click on the name in the sidebar and choose rename to something like Home)
There isn't a "linking" option for mortgages as it will display correctly in your total net worth (What the Home is worth (your asset account) less the mortgage (either setup as a loan or liability account.)5 -
Thanks John for confirming. I have read some info about "linking" a specific loan to a specific house and even have Zillow update current value. But I think they may be another version like Home & Business.1
