    Related to the mortgage, is Quicken Planning which has a category: Mortgage Payment. But the loan does not have a category Mortgage Payment, the payment goes as an expense in checking which is the [Checking Account Name]. So the budget category 'Mortgage Payment' is always zero. I get the interest paid fine. The escrow amount goes to a hidden account to track what is in the escrow account.
    Anyhow the manual mortgage works fine and tracks to the penny, But getting that info into a budget is kind of a conundrum. With my current mortgage I also have an extra amount to the principal and the manual mortgage tracks that nicely too.
