How do I change stock symbol in 401K account?
AEdge
I have a several-year-old 401K account containing stock for a company that just went public. The stock symbol is currently blank; I want to enter the real symbol so that Quicken will download price info. However, both the Stock Symbol and Look Up controls are disabled. Can I fix this? Thanks for any help.

What is the Security Type assigned to the current security? (Probably should be Stock.) Securities with the Type of Bond in particular do not have the Symbol and Lookup options.

Thank you! The type was set to "Stock", but I changed it to something else and then back to "Stock". That caused the symbol controls to become enabled.

Strange circumstance. Glad it worked out.
