account download and updates

I can't seem to get one edward jones account to show up as an option to add to Quicken. And so I can't get live updates on one of my IRA accounts. Very annoying. Any suggestions. The account was synced up but then something happened and it would not longer recognize the account. I close the account on quicken and tried to create a new account and link them but now it will not even give me that option.

    ok... you have kinda shared the past - the present - and the future all in one.

    1 - Account was synced - do you mean you had a Quicken Account setup for this EJ account and it was working ok ?
    2 - Then something happened.... what ?  Error message ? code ? what ?
    3 - Close the account - do you mean you actually told Quicken to "Close" the acct ?
    4 - Tried to create a NEW account and link them - but that doesn't work
    SO.... where would you like to start
