Can I 'Add Account' on a Private Educational Loan?

I have not been able to add a Private educational loan to Quicken. My child needs help paying and i am the cosigner. The loan is strange, a bit like a HELOC with variable rates and capitalized interest. It does not fit the template provided for manual entry. Can such a loan be added to Quicken?

    How about setting it up as an offline credit card or liability account. Manually record whatever the bank shows on their monthly statement, including interest charges, payments, etc., to keep your account register in sync with the bank statement.
