Latest update won't load my existing file

I hate the auto update feature that can't be disabled! Of course it updated and after signing in won't load my existing files. Thank God I have already filed my taxes. I never got a chance to upload them to the cloud, of course - see auto update comment. What do I do next? Am I stuck with restoring from a backup?

Thank you for reaching out to the Community regarding your issue, although I am sorry to hear that you are experiencing issues loading your file. Could we get more information on the issue here. You recently installed an update and it wouldn't load your main file? What happens when you do try to load it? Did the backups load properly but not your main file?
