Zero out securities value so I can close an account
Cindi Anderson
I have decades of monthly small transactions in an account and I don't want to go through them to find the reason for a $384 leftover securities value. I want to just close the count but it won't let me because this value is there. Please tell me a way to just force an offset to zero out the securities value so I can get it to zero. Thanks

Never mind, I finally found how to adjust the share balance.

- you may be left with a cost basis that is not zero. if you do, use a 'RtnCap' action transaction to force the cost basis to zero.
