Synchrony Bank will not link

Synchrony Bank (Amazon.com Store Card and Lowe's) has not linked for months. Is this a Synchrony issue or Quicken issue.

    Thank you for reaching out to Quicken Community. I apologize you are having this issue. To better assist you I need more information. What error messages/codes are you getting? What version of Quicken are you using? What connection method are you using?

    To check the version being used select Quicken (Top left corner) >About Quicken. 

    To check the connection method of the account select Setting (bottom right corner) >Downloads. 

    Once we have more information we can move towards diagnosing the issue at hand.

    (Note that I have Quicken Windows subscription, fully updated): I was able to re-activate automatic downloads for my Synchrony Amazon store card by following these steps. ---- 1. While in your Amazon Store Card account, go to the settings turn wheel in the upper right hand corner and select "Edit Account Details. -2. While in the "General Tab, paste the following into the box labeled "Home Page": "https://amazon.syf.com/login/". -3. When asked to choose a financial institution select "Amazon.com Store Card - Synchrony". -4. Make sure you link the downloads to an existing account and not to a new account. -5. Ignore the message that indicates Quicken is duplicating transactions you already have ---- The above measures worked for me, I hope they help others also.

    I noticed also that if you initially set up the Synchrony account as "Offline", you can then go into edit the account and type in the website (where it says "Home page) where you go online with Synchrony. For instance, if I log onto synchrony directly my website is "https//:www.mysynchrony.com" Oddly enough, Quicken then found "Guitar Center Credit Card" instead of Synchrony Bank and my credentials did pull the correct data.????? I don't think this is Quicken. It is a Synchrony oddity. Hope it's not a shell company :)
