wrong email when asked for additional information during download

in Download, Add/Update Accounts (Windows)
when I am updating my bank account it asked for a security code to be sent to an email but the email that is listed is missing a letter so the security code never arrives. has anyone had this happen and how did you correct it?

    That should be something to review and change on the bank's website.
    Is it possible that your email address is rather long and therefore it was truncated by mistake?
    Can you try a different email address that is shorter?
