How can I create my Quicken account if it won't let me enter an email address?

in Signing in, Passwords, and Activation (Windows)
Trying to create account. it wants a cell phone # and password as well as email address but it doesn't allow me to type the address. This is a boxed version of Quicken Deluxe that I purchased from Staples awhile ago. How can I establish an account so that I can start using the product?
