HELOC treated as loan

Hi, I am new to using Quicken. I connected to my credit union and accepted the accounts that were returned. One of them is a home equity line of credit. But it was returned as a simple loan, and I don't have any transaction history in it. Is there a way to convert the loan account to a HELOC short of deleting it and reentering it manually?

I recommend you delete the online-connected HELOC account and redefine it as an "offline" (manual) Credit Card account. Keep it offline and record any transactions manually as needed.
