Why does the password popup open on my second display?

QW2014 Premier Windows 10,  running on laptop with a tv as a second display always opened main window and password prompt on my laptop (main display)  I got a new LG UHD monitor and now the main window still opens on the laptop (main display) but the password popup always opens on the second display. 

Further, if the second display is off or not available, it does not default back to the laptop, so there is no way to log in to Q.

    Back to this issue, since posting this I have:

    1.  Gotten a new second LG computer monitor, replacing the TV that was being used.
    2.  Researched the issue online and see no other reports of this strange problem.
    3.  Reinstalled and applied updates to QW 2014 Premier.
    4.  Figured out that only my current QDF file does this.  Older QFD files for archived years open the password popup on the correct screen.
