On the new version why are Tags not on the check register?

My older program allows tags in my check register. Why not the newer program

    What version - .... Help --> About Quicken
    Bring up your Register -
    then in the upper right corner - click the Gear/Settings icon -
    Scroll down to - Register Columns --> Click TAGS
