Focus When Opening Register

When opening a register, is there a way to prevent focus from immediately going to an editable date field as if I am entering a new transaction? Most of the time, I simply want to open the register, or download transactions. It's rare that I want to immediately enter a transaction as soon as I open a register.

    No, that's the way it is. Where would you like focus to go?

    Quicken user since version 2 for DOS, as of 2025 using QWin Premier (US) on Win10 Pro & Win11 Pro on 2 PCs.

    I would prefer the register row to just be highlighted as opposed to being editable. I can click the date field to enable if I want to enter a new transaction. It's too easy to accidentally start entering a new transaction.
