when I clear an item in reconcile it jumps to register why?

when I reconcile my account I clear item but for some reason it will revert to check register to tha

    More details, please. It appears your comment was truncated at 1 line. If the Comment window appears too small, just keep typing beyond the end of the line and the window will get larger.
