Balance Adjustment Uncategorized

How do I categorize a balance adjustment? When I go to spending it shows up as uncategorized. I am not sure why.

    A balance adjustment can be done in several ways depending on the type of account and if it a cash or share balance adjustment.  Please give more details so we can better help you.

    @damian I am trying to find a category to put the balance adjustment that won't affect spending. If I can't, what category do I put a balance adjustment into so that when I go to the spending tab, it doesn't show "1 Uncategorized Transaction/"

    @Damian I did a transfer back into the same account.

    @paddy - the transfer back into the same account is the correct thing to do.

    A transfer back into the same account is what I do and it works well.
