Citibank Costco card - password not required - "key icon"

I notice in the password vault under "Accounts that require passwords" that my Citibank Costco account now shows that a password is "not required" but shows a key icon instead.
What does this mean?

@joecomm - your Citibank Costco account is using an "Express Web Connect" connection method.
