Reinstalling Quicken 2016 on new Windows 11 computer

Clicked on install executable and nothing happens. It's been running about an hour. DVD hasn't moved. Does anyone know what's going on and how to resolve?

  You're not going to be able to use Quicken 2016 even if you can get it to install.

  It seems Quicken has stopped support of pre-subscription versions of Quicken.
