Created a new quicken 2015 file but file opens to blank screen

I had trouble getting quicken 2015 to work on my Windows 10 Pc. After getting a config file from old computer, my quicken files opened. Now when I try to create a new quicken file I have the same problem. I can create the file and it opens and then quickly flashes to a blank screen with only the file and help tabs available. Under the file tab I have the choice of new quicken file, open quicken file or file operations. When I choose open I can open previous quicken files but the new quicken file opens to the blank screen. Thanks for any help
