How do I start a new account for 2023

Have accounts for previous years, but I want to start over for 2023

    Why?  It's better to continue in the same data file.  Too many times people ask how to put them back together.  And when you get a new version you have to remember to also convert the old file.   But to start new go up to File-New Quicken File.

    I'm staying on Quicken 2013 Premier for Windows.

    Not completely sure what you mean by "start over," but this might accomplish what you are trying to do.   You will have a file that isn't really new but that includes all historical investments transactions but only current-year banking and credit card activity.
