Stop auto Release Updates

Quicken auto updates my Release versions with the 10 limit split transaction bug. How do I stop auto release updates?

    Use Windows User Access Control (UAC)  You can get there via the Windows search box - UAC.  Make sure the setting is one of the top two where Windows notifies you if an app tries to make a change.
