Opening Balance Problem

I had an o/s check at the end of 2021. What balance forward do I use. Do I add the o/s check in the balance forward and then make another entry for the amount in the new year

    Now that the check is so old, I should think you can just add the amount of the check back into your account.

    What is an o/s check?

    Quicken user since Q1999. Currently using QW2017.
