Transfer transaction using categories

Support doesn't seem to understand my transaction. I would like to transfer $100 from my checking into my savings and I would like to designate $10 to be a reserve and $90 to be actual savings. The net effect would be an increase of $100 to the savings account balance yet I would like to see in the savings account I have $10 in reserve and $90 in a category called savings.

    Look into Saving Goals.  

    I'm staying on Quicken 2013 Premier for Windows.

    I assume the “savings” is an actual account in the real world and in Quicken.
     If so, I would:
    a) Create a Savings Goal called Reserve
    b) Transfer $100 from Checking to Savings (accounts) matching to the real world transaction
    c) Transfer $10 from Savings (account) to Reserve (goal).
