Stock Purchase Not Showing In Portfolio

I entered a stock purchase. In showes in the register but not in the portfolio. Never had this problem in the past. Please Help! Thank you!

    If you haven't already, on the portfolio tab click "options" at the top right > "Customize current view..." > click on "Securities" tab.  Then make sure the new security is selected in the list.

    Thank you! It worked. Anytime in the past I purchased a stock it updated the portfolio automatically.
    Don't know why it didn't this time, but your fix fixed it ...again thank you!
