Auto categorize?

Is there a way that I can set it up so that when I import transactions from my bank I don't have to categorize every transaction? Can it recognize the same payees and automatically categorize all transactions of the same name?

    Yes you can by setting this preferrence…

    You should also consider using memorized payees for greater control. You can F1 in Quicken for more info.
