Can Not Add Expense Subcategory

I have had this problem for 2+ months now. I cannot find any ghost category such ACCT_#### that has been mentioned. The work around I have used is to rename the category I want to create a sub-category under so that it is very early in my category list. I then create the sub-category, and then I rename the original category to its original name. I hope at some point the Quicken team will fix this issue. In the meantime additional hints as to how to find the category that is causing the problem would be helpful.
