Quicken Freezes Upon Launch and other freezes

I've been a user since the late 90s and the state of this software is, by far, the worst that I have experince.

My latest issue is the software freezes upon launch at least 90% of the time. No amount of prevents this from occuring other than uninstalling and reinstalling, maybe. If it launch an runs successfully, I get one shot at entering/viewing transactions.

No amount of validating or Super validating, if it runs to completion, helps. The last attempts at validating resulted in those operations hanging a checking "zero categories".

I'm at my wit's end when it comes to this software. Quicken has us over a barrel and they know it. As a decades long software developer, the state of this software is totally unacceptable.
