Quicken 2017 or new Quicken

I am using Quicken 2017 US version. I have not used the online banking for it. I moved to Canada and am thinking of downloading the new Quicken Canada and may be use the on line banking part. If I do this will the Canadian version import my US data? And secondly if I find the new version is no better than my current 2017 version and I cancel it, will it still work until the end of my subscription?

    The 2017 version can only be used in offline, limited capacity. Recommend you try the Canadian subscription product. I understand it will import the file used with the US version, but it won't be backwards compatible once converted.
