On my Windows machine, one-step update shuts down Quicken

See the question, above. When I run one-step update, the accounts are updated, but Quicken shuts down immediately. That never used to happen.

  what version …. Help —> About Quicken

  do you start Quicken and then do One Step Update without doing anything else within Quicken ?
  If so - just try displaying any account Register - and THEN go to OSU -
