Packing the database

I removed years of transactions and all old accounts, yet the database size didn't change. How do I pack the database?

  File > Copy or Backup File > Create a copy or template

  This is the only way to prune the database, leaving behind old items marked deleted. You'll need to restore your online connections to use the new copy.

  Quicken user since version 2 for DOS, as of 2025 using QWin Premier (US) on Win10 Pro & Win11 Pro on 2 PCs.
