Adding an Amex Credit Card (Canada)

When trying to add my Canadian Amex card, the add screen wants me to add what looks like a regular chequiing account. There is no prompt for login credentials to import my account and transactions. I canceled my trial because of this. Is there any way to get Amex to connect in Canada or was I doing it incorrectly?

    As far as I know, the AMEX Credit card in Canada does not use Quicken Connect

    you have to download the QFX file from the AMEX credit car webpage

    This is what I use and it works well

    I find it inexcplicable that a start-up company can create a reliable connection to any Canadian bank and brokerage but Quicken can't support Amex, Tangerine, and Canadian brokerages.

    Quicken Connect worlks fine with Tangerine

    Stock broker, I am unsure, I did try Bational Bank Direct Brokerage but I am not using it directly with Quicken

    For Amex, I use "downloaded QFX file" from their web site

    For Others I use, TD works fine with Quicken Connect, Desjardins with QFX files, National Bank Of Canada Newlogin normally works fine with Direct Connect and you can use QFX files with its second connection ( the one thet does not mention Newlogin
