What to put in when an ETF matures.

My Schwab Bond ETF matured and it just put the cash in but the bond position remains.

    Don’t know about a bond ETF but when a real bond matures, you need to sell it. Depending on circumstances and preferences, you might sell it for face value or for cost with interest income making up the difference between cost and face value.
