Flaw in last update - Update icon gets stuck, have to close/reopen to update [Edited]

Q for mac May 2024 update icon spins all the time and has to be closed and reopened to update accounts.

Seems like a small flaw.

    I'd report that through the "Report a Problem" option on the Help menu. One thing I would mention in the report is how far the update gets - is the progress bar appearing at all and if so how far does it get before stopping?

    Happens to me also. Accounts do seem to update, but icon never stops spinning.
