Is the Quicken Online Service really down, or is my software corrupted by the recent update?

    The latest round of software updates must have changed something related to your Quicken ID.
    I had to do this to resume working:
    • Go to Edit / Preferences / Quicken ID & Cloud Accounts
    • Click the "Sign in as a different user" link on the right side.
    • Sign out, then sign back in to your Quicken account using your existing Quicken ID.
