Replace accounts
I have multiple Brokerage accounts with multiple placeholders. Can I somehow set the current accounts aside and download the active accounts in total to get a fresh start w/o placeholders? I do not need to use for taxes.

I don't know, wouldn't it be easier to just muddle your way thru the mess with the placeholders and fix them?
Otherwise, in the new account registers, you may soon have new placeholders rearing their ugly heads again. As far as setting up new accounts … you can certainly do that, but it very much depends on the brokerages that you're working with and if you can download correct holdings information as of today or as of a certain selected cutoff date, like 9/1, and any transactions since that date.
