Unpaid invoices show up on the budget as actual

When I am looking at the Actual to Budget all invoices hit the budget as income on the date of the invoice. This should be an Account Receivable. I want it to hit the Actual on the budget as they are paid. Is there a way to make this work

    Depending on your selected accounting method, Accrual vs. Cash Basis accounting, income received from invoices will be counted differently.

    @Bill LWE I believe this is a bug and it was reported years ago. I found similar behavior and spent a lot of time trying to understand what was going on. Reference below:

    @Quicken Sarah engaged briefly then. Seems to be still a problem. You can report a problem, in app, and reference this thread.
